Inquiry Data: Any information you voluntarily provide in contact forms, emails, or consultations. We do not collect sensitive personal data (special categories under Article 9 GDPR) or data from consumers. 4. Legal Basis for Processing We process personal data only when we have a valid legal basis: Contractual Necessity (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): To provide quotations, process orders, deliver samples/products, or enter into/perform a business contract. Legal Obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR): To comply with EU chemical regulations (REACH), Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), Dutch tax laws, trade reporting, and customs requirements. Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): To respond to your technical or commercial inquiries, maintain business relationships, send relevant updates on material innovations, optimize our website, and improve our products/services. How We Use Your Data We use your data for the following purposes: Providing technical advice, product quotations, and customized solutions (e.g., responding to REACH or CBAM inquiries). Managing regulatory documentation and compliance where you/your company are identified as an importer, downstream user, or business partner. Maintaining professional business communication (e.g., newsletters on new materials — only if relevant and non-marketing in nature). Website analytics and improvement (using anonymized or pseudonymized data where possible). Fulfilling legal and contractual obligations. 6. Contract/order-related data: Retained for the duration of the relationship plus up to 7 years (Dutch fiscal and trade law requirement for business records). Technical/usage data: Retained for up to 26 months (Google Analytics default, if used) or shorter if you object/withdraw consent for cookies.
